At Shields Auto Glass, we make the insurance claim process simple and hassle-free by working with a third-party company that handles everything for you. That means no long wait times on the phone with your insurance company—we take care of it all!
To get started, follow the steps below.

If your insurance provider is listed above, you're all set to get started. If not, give us a call, and we’ll discuss your options.
Before submitting your claim, you’ll need to schedule your windshield repair or replacement with us. Click here to schedule an appointment or call us at (208) 996-3386.
Once your appointment is set, proceed with the steps below.
To allow us to communicate with your insurance provider, you’ll need to sign a quick authorization form. We will send the link via text or email once your appointment is booked. You can fill it out electronically or print and sign it.
We will ask you to send your proof of insurance and deductible to our email once the Authorization form is sent.
We will need:
✅ A clear photo of your insurance card
✅ Confirmation that you have NOT already submitted a claim for your windshield
⚠️ Important: If you have already filed a claim for this repair with your insurance company or another third-party administrator (TPA), you must cancel it first. We cannot process your claim if another one is still active.
Once you’ve completed the steps above, we take care of everything else! No need to deal with your insurance company—we handle the entire claim process for you.
After your windshield repair or replacement is complete, we will collect your deductable (if any) and will submit the necessary paperwork to ensure quick and smooth payment processing.
